Addressing a Decline in Capacity Utilisation and Patient Enquiries
Bearsden Chiropractic experienced a 20% downturn in business during 2025, with total clinic utilisation falling to around 70%. This directly impacted not only the business owner but also the chiropractors operating under a self-employed arrangement – many of whom were early in their careers and increasingly exposed to the rising cost of living in the UK. An initial review revealed several conversion blockers: the website contained long, repetitive pages of dense text that few users were likely to read, while low-resolution imagery made the brand feel dated and low-quality. Crucially, pricing information was absent, which likely increased drop-off by signalling the service might be luxurious and unaffordable. On top of this, the website’s contact form was not functioning, meaning inbound enquiries were silently lost and the clinic relied entirely on phone calls to generate new leads.
